Westland John Innes Seed Sowing Compost is naturally peat free. It is perfect for bringing seeds to life for fast as well as healthy germination.
Enriched with vermiculite to retain moisture and nutrients, it also feeds for the first three weeks. John Innes Seed Compost also contains sand for excellent drainage as well as coir and loam for perfect nutrient and moisture retention.

Seeds
- Fill tray with compost. Water and allow to drain. Make a hole in the compost.
- Sow the seeds according to the instructions.
- Water with a fine rose, and prevent drying out by using a clear cover
- Germinate in a warm spot away from direct sunlight. Keep seedlings moist.
Cuttings
- Cut and remove non flowering 10cm shoot. Trim to leave top two pairs of leaves. Dip in rooting gel.
- Insert firmly into compost, water and place in poly bag, in a warm spot away from direct sunlight.
General Advice
- Use in a well-ventilated place and avoid breathing dust.
- Always wear gloves when gardening and wash hands after use.
- Store in a frost-free place and away from weed killers and other garden chemicals.
